Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift RS3 8V In Here

Ah that was yours! I’ve used Russ before, he’s a nice guy and that’s all I will say.
However he does seem to have turned the business around from what I’ve seen of late.

Love what you’ve done with the plate!! I’m going to give myself a telling off for not thinking of that one. I’ve gone as far as cutting down a plate holder to put mine on, I’m changing that when I’m on rest days next. Only concern is, when I asked Velcro about the waterproof properties of their Velcro they said there are none and it is not suitable for outdoor use....
I had the same concern with the velcro but I had it on my motorbike and know people who have used it on their car plates and never had any issues with thw weather. They are probably telling that juat to cover their backs.

@JamesCrs3 Looks awesome mate... does the plate holder come off easy enough?

@AudiNutta Velco’s perfectly fine to use for it... I’ve used it on my last few cars, if you get the heave duty stuff its easier pulling off the adhesive parts compared to Velcro haha
Yeah super easy to remove mate. Take the numberplate off first and then remove the screws. All you need to do then it lift the plate holder up and pull it off. Mine came off first try, was quite suprised it was that easy. The velcro is absolutely solid, removed the plate to adjust the postion and yeah, that wasn't easy haha.

Car has now been fully ceramic coated, along with gloss black wheels, black badges and some frontal PPF. Thanks to Midlands Car Care for doing a top job.

Also recorded a 3.8 sec 0-60, not bad considering in was in the wet.

Excusing your terrible paddle extenders - I like the plate.

Is that legal? And how/where did you get the mount and plate made?

And does the existing holder just sit on top of the grill? Did you drill into the grill?

Yeah it's perfectly legal, as long as the text is the correct size and there is a border of I believe 15mm around the edge of the text the plate can be as short or as long as you like. The existing holder is screwed into the grill and also has a few clips to hold it firmly in place. I cut down my old numberplate and used the existing holes to fix it onto the grill.

Not sure why but there was an influx of A3 Clubsport videos on instagram lately like this.

Not sure if this is modded or stock?

This one seems modded too me though.

Well, today was finally collection day! I can honestly say that I am in love with the car. I did ~80 miles today and I was stopped a total of 6 times when parking up, at traffic lights, etc with just people complimenting the car (and the sound!) - I've never experienced that before with any car I have owned so it's totally surreal. I even had a group of kids outside Halfords who asked to sit inside the car and take a photo for their mates!

Anyway... out with the old and in with the new...

Without me looking at every picture is there a FL with the numberplate on the side? Ive done this on my Pre FL but the new one looks like a smaller gap to do this.

Congrats on the pick up Callump

I picked up mine from detailer today, got Modesta BC-05 and Modesta leather treatment (don´t remember the name) done... looked damn good, pity about the ****** weather on the way home though... (first image of the detailers other ongoing jobs, felt like my RS3 was in capable hands :playful:)

Only picked up the car yesterday and 3 of the 4 center wheels caps have fallen off whilst driving... dealership are arranging replacements now. Hopefully the 4th one doesn't fall off in the meantime.

Oh dear! I know during transport they are removed these days, so they have only lasted between PDI and when you noticed them missing.

Car looks great, nice to see a local one on here!! Perhaps will have to meet up one day.

Those suit the car a lot more than the stock wheels. Up your game Audi, I hope there's some special edition RS3 coming with better wheels.

Looks great but why not keep the Audi centre cap covers? (Assuming that they come off on your new wheels). I think it looks tacky/bad to have third party parts with their name on them - specially the wheels. I would make sure if I changed wheels that it would always say Audi in the middle.

I undrestand but it cant fit, not same diametter, and beside i dont like that Audi chrome stock one

Over the moon, coming from a focus ST,this RS3 is absolutely bonkers

Cheers It’s in the Newcastle dealership, went nardo gary as u can seen, sports exhaust,Black style pack, sound and comfort, red brake calipers, normal sport seats with red stitching couldn’t b happier, getting the rear windows tinted 2morro

So £999, at that price you should save the £800 plus extra tax from upgraded alloys when ordering, keep the standard and get these.

I had considered the same, are there any calibration differences to traction or stability control if selecting the wider fronts?

Just had the windows tinted (40%) - so thought I'd share...

I'm ouside the UK, so I'm legally allowed a top strip on the windscreen and all other windows fully tinted.

I've also had an acrylic paint protection applied. I'm really happy with the overall look.

Cracking optioned car.....but ye failed at the final hurdle with the no cost Nerdo.....only my opinion though

It’s good to see people receiving their cars, my original rs3 saloon order arrived at the dealers this week and they’re using it now as a showroom model, it’s in viper green. Hoping to pop by some point this week and have a look. It’s at the Lincoln dealership if anyone is local.

May need to get them painted in the summer.
