It's been quiet in camp Nogaro... because i had to take the engine out again!
Well i didn't HAVE to it's just that i preferred to - i was experiencing clutch slip at higher RPM. So it was time to investigate. Engine out and cracked on.
So off with the gearbox and i was met with a black and oily mess under there.
Turns out the input shaft seal carked it. Completely my fault as i didn't change it way back when. Rookie error.

- making sure things are centred
- clutch plate the right way around? Check!
- NLS shim kit
- wish i didn't have to cover this up! Gorgeous bit of kit!
- touching up the blue as it had turned green in some spots where i was handling with greasy hands.
- changed cam cover but came across an issue. The coil packs don't push all the way doesn't push all the way down on the AGN valve cover.
- coilpack boot shave time! Needed for using the AGN flat valve cover.
- that's better! Push in all the way and they don't pop out anymore.
Still a little bit of re-jigging to do, especially with the PCV system. Waiting on some new rubber for the wheels too.
Oh and i changed the hotside down to a .64 one... and now
