Just discovered this product on YouTube and would really like to try it.

My cleaning regime finishes with AG Aquawax which dries the paintwork and polishes it at the same time. The wax lasts 2-3 weeks which works out just right for the next wash and coat of Aquawax. My question is this: would Gyeon Wet Coat remove the need for a light wax such as Aquawax and would the Gyeon Wet Coat be incompatible with a wax coat anyway?

All comments gratefully received.

Works exactly the same way as Fireball easi coat its activated by water silicon dioxide

It lasts up to 3 weeks and to be honest it's better than aqua wax from autoglym, it's handy for a quick contact less bead and shine, personally l think aqua wax is rubbish, l got it as a Freeby with a autoglym kit from the dealer, tried it once gave it away to the neighbour

Well each to his own, but thanks for answering the question. I can substitute Wet Coat for Aqua Wax to give me a short term shine, as well as the all important water repulsion. I’m definitely going to give it a go

Marells Detailing (ASN Sponsor) have their Wasabi quick detailer which I use as the last coat to go on my cars which is very good.

Having used both, Wetcoat lasts longer than AG Aqua Wax.

Depends what you need. My car has a ceramic coating so suits Wetcoat better.

Wetcoat Essence is a concentrated form which you dilute at home. Will be trying that next.

Don't get it on your windscreen is my advice

Aqua coat by auto finesse is the stuff I swear by. Great product and has decent durability also

Gyeon wetcoat is great from my experience. I find it lasts easily 6 weeks so is quite economical. To answer your question though, in theory you could use this as your lsp on its own or on top of a wax or sealant etc. Very versatile and easy to use.
