Show Us Your Beading Shots

Cheers.
Wasn’t looking for professional opinion in particular.

As a user, have you used both of the products and prefer one more than other? If so, why?

Would like to know, what all of you guys and gals use on your cars.

I have no experience with ceramics but I did look into it for my current car. It’s not as simple as getting it put on then leaving it, it still must be cared for.

I have recently switched to using sealant from using various waxes in the past. I doubt I will use wax again as the sealants seem a lot easier to use and last longer.

These are wicked shots.

Is sealant better than ceramic coating, or worse?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes and No, a Sealant doesn't provide physical protection ie anti - swirl protection a ceramic does, you'll get the same aesthetically pleasing gloss levels from both, but a ceramic coating should out perform a Sealant in durability terms , paint sealants are cheaper as well but again both types of coatings need a base primer/panel cleanser, again its all down to how you prep the paint as this will determine how long either the Sealant or ceramic coating will last on the paint, both products need top up coats of whatever the product/manufacture states, to maintain gloss aquaphobic levels
Lastly Sealants are recommended for light coloured cars ie white paint over a wax, as waxes can tint the paint slightly

Got bored half way through that video but the guy was making fair points there.

Will do some digging on it

Cheers

Was thinking to use this method to prep the car for any of the products

Loads of work but definitely worth it.

Apologies for invading the topic with stupid questions.
I should asking in more relevant section.

All the best to all

Perfect weapon for the clown tailgating me this morning in a Skoda.

Frozen beading flying off the roof and into his face at motorway speeds!

He soon kept his distance

Cheers mate. I wanted to wax the car and have Fusso Soft 99 but I finished late and thought I'll use CP Reload. Maybe in couple of weeks when I wash again I'll put Fusso. I want to see the results on a dark coloured car as I couldn't tell much difference on a white and silver lol.

Its not our A3 in the photos, our old Toyota Verso . Getting it ready to sell. Theses shots are the result of a Snowfoam wash, bit of treatment with G3 paste and then a DA polish with Poorboys BH. Yet to do the wax......

Room for improvement im sure but yesterday was day one with the DA and the products.
