Hi all

Is there list of Model Year changes for the A5 anywhere? Just wondering what new bits were added / removed since the 2016 / 17 launch.

Only one i know is auto hold is now standard, and i think a few package options have changed since 2016.
 
The VC was separate to the tech pack until the 2018 model year, but the price for the tech pack was increased when the VC came bundled with it

Also think the four ring puddle lights are now standard.
 
Any thing else? I think the ring puddle lights (when you open the door?) aee a £100 option
 
Virtual Cockpit wasn't available on my 17 plate one unless taken with the tech pack at £1295
 
MY18 differences as far as I knew were:

Audi ring - optional on all A5, standard on S5/RS5
VC - included with tech pack (previous required the tech pack as well, but could be opted out to save a few hundred quid)

Couldn't be opted out of the tech pack, I tried multiple times to get it added to my 17 plate one. It was £1250 or not, you could click it for £250 but then it wouldn't process unless the tech pack was added, I think for that price everyone would have had it as standard ;)

Yeah you're right, what I meant is that you could have the tech pack without the VC (by opting out, i mean, opting out of VC... not that you would want to for a 250 extra) but if you added the VC on its own, you had to add the Tech Pack also.
 
I've just got a new 18 plate and yeh dealer mentioned auto hold assist was now standard.
I've not got rings for the puddle lights, so as people have said I think that's just standard on the S5
