Suspension

In all honesty mate and it completely surprised me! It’s a lot smoother and the missis says the same. I wish I’d done it sooner. The car is an se model so the suspension was really high so you’d of thought it would be really smooth to but it was quite the opposite.
 
I still need to let it settle a bit then I’ll readjust. I’d say the back has already dropped a further 10mm since doing them.
 
I used sportline coilovers a company called stanced uk selling them on eBay.
 
I might drop the front a touch but the back will come up about 10mm as I carry a lot around with me I don’t want to risk scrapage lol.
 
Think I am going to get some 20mm spacers and dump mine it's not my daily only weekend car
 
Trust me if your doing suspension I guarantee yo will have to replace them. Best way to remove them is wind the nut to the end of the bolt and just keep smashing it with a hammer! Just be careful not to **** your wing!
Then you will have loosened it hopefully enough to start winding them out with spanner.
 
I think I will need to replace some bushes once I fit the stiffer suspension
 
Possibly, but no point in replacing something that hasn’t failed yet. I’ll do mine as and when they go. Might be surprised they might last longer than you think.
 
Yes going to fit the coilovers first then see how it goes but the jobs are mounting up amp coilovers. Turbo intercooler the list never ends lol
 
I whacked pro sport coilovers on mine 2 months back, didn’t need any other parts, it’s slammed now and they are finally as smooth as I had hoped. Unfortunately now I’m breaking her up due to her poorly engine!
 
I used these on my B5 1.9 TDi with 190 BHP and 300 Lb/Ft and they are amazing.

Not to expensive, have a firm but not uncomfortable ride and you can adjust the ride height to suit you.

Recommended by a mate who races an Avant B5 on a budget and pound for pound, these have been the best he could find, he says, below £600!

I can only recommend these as they do exactly what I want.

Hopefully order some 15mm spacers in the week to bring the rear end out a bit how's your car going

If you break the car would be interested in the suspension if it is 1.8t Quattro
 
Always looking for a tqs lol. Yeah it’s handling so much better as I said before it’s so much smoother now. Looking to get some spacers also probably 15 as well.
