Vag. Com boost leak

Hi there is there a way to check for a boost leak on vag. Com I've only got the free version cheers

That's a shame I diffently have a problem when I give it the beans it goes into limp mode

Spray wd40 on pipes bit pipe by pipe when revs pick up you've found culprit

Yeah going to try that what else could cause it to go into limp mode
 
if its going into limp mode there will be a fault code... What does that code say?

I have a cheap eBay reader but it's not coming up with anything
 
Will the cheap reader work or do I need vag. Com I have the free one just not set up yet
 
you cant get limp mode without a fault code, unless its not actually limp mode and is instead missfiring or something.
 
No diffently limp mode where does it show a code on vag. Com
 
It goes into limp mode but then after about 20 seconds full boost is back

It's not a mis fire must be a boost leak

The plugs are new was doing it on the old ones and new ones it's only when I give it some cuts boost for about 20 seconds then comes back during that time engine runs sweet but boost cut in half

Sounds like mine when had dodge coil even though had no code come up

Really OK you might be right going to boost leak test it anyway then take it from there

Some fault code readers aren't best as dont bring up all the codes in the end I got vag com as saved me a fortune in the long run

Just got mine but only got the cheap eBay lead and the free software but not set it up yet
