They are 8E2 and for RHD
Doh sorry for assuming yours is RHD.

I’ll try one with no suffix.
It says MAX on the sticker and there are two rows of pins where the mirror connector fits.. So unless they can’t communicate, then I’ll think I’m good buying that

Buying list is as follows:
Pair of side mirrors that power folds and auto dims
Mirror switch 8E0959565A
Door card cover 8E1867171C
Door module 8E1959802E
Door module 8E1959801 (MAX) not yet ordered
Then next I’ll need the pins and wires to connect the rear view mirror to the modules/side mirrors
I’ll find the diy somewhere, it has the part numbers for those..
Damn an expensive mod, once again..

You should try adding memory seats next which also needs those window modules. I tried to retrofit on mine but failed miserably. Think I'm missing some wires still but wasted far to many hours on it and have since given up trying.

Kind of easy job so far. But..
Anyone with a tip regarding that foam thing.. I can’t get it to fit right, and every time I do, the wire comes out of place..
Should it be fitted on its own, or fitted to mirror base and then fitted to door?

I fitted the foam onto the door first then pushed the mirror in. Once you start tightening the bolt it pulled it in correctly

Not so easy to get the correct parts in Norway from salvageyards, they are just mirrors..
Maybe it was written earlier, but is it automaticly dim mirrors if they fold?

And no.. they are not dimmable just because they fold electrically..

I already installed the heated steering wheel
I just thought the Q version of the SW module had heating ability
It doesn’t.
So I bought an R version which does.
I’ll receive it Friday according to tracking
Im running the B7 style steering wheel..
Can’t remember the suffix for being heated.

Yes that’s why I thought I could have it.
A German seller told me that I needed R module.. He swore that Q didn’t have it.
Also the red light isn’t on in the button when I’m driving. So guess he’s right.
If it doesn’t get power to light then why should it work at all? And again I’m running Q module
I suspect there will probably be additional wiring. Il have to have a look on Elsa when I have two minutes.

Partnumber is exactly the same apart from 8H instead of 8E. It has full set of pins.
Any thougts about that? Cant really see why it should not work ?

No havent got the mirrors in the Mail yet.
Its possible to remove the module from the motor it looks like too me, connected with clips.
