I'm seriously considering cancelling my order today as I've been sent this deal:
£190pm for A6 Avant Black Edition S Tronic. That's a saving of £130pm on the A4 I've ordered.

that is a very good deal.. The only downside is the older interior and 5000 miles p/a but if you don't travel much than that is a solid deal

Yeah. I know there's a new A6 due in the summer but even cheaper here. I have a van for work and sadly my wife doesn't drive much due to being poorly. Had E Class 2 years and just covered 9k miles.

I've just phoned up to order the A6. The finance company have pulled the plug on the whole deal. It seems they dropped a boo boo.
Even the orders taken have been cancelled and monies returned.
Glad I didn't cancel A4 first.

Boooo! Such joy kills man but thank god you didnt cancel on your current A4 otherwise you’d be in a right pickle!
TBH the S4 deal is still available. But a few quid per month dearer than car I've ordered and although the power would be very very nice a standard spec S4 (without Black Edition, tech pack, matrix, reversing camera, storage pack and more) would bug me. And I'm not in a posision to add any options.
However, one day I'll live a little.

I know what you mean about choosing a fully loaded car versus a more powerful under spec'd car. You've still got a beauty on its way.
Funny thing is, once you know it's at the dealers you're almost prepared to wait another week or so...almost!
My spec is on page 56 of this thread. Hopefully I can get plenty of pics but it'll be an iPhone jobby.
So status changed to 60 overnight, checked with Audi live chat and they confirm that the car was on a transporter yesterday evening so should be at the dealers today. Dealer confirmed this too.
Unfortunately no delivery until New Year now though. It's crazy knowing it's sat at the dealers. As someone said on this thread, it's so close I can smell it!

Why cant they arrange for it to be collected before new years.. who is your dealer? Surley they can stretch to make a collection happen before new years ?
It's getting delivered on a transporter to me, the dealer isn't local. Apparently the transporter company finish this week for the xmas break. Understandable of course.
Surprisingly I'm very calm compared to the rest of the journey..it's like knowing it's here has settled and killed off the impatient monster in me

Oh thats fair enough haha. I thought you were collecting.. i was really impatient before i knew the car came but in this last week and especially this last day it hasnt at all bothered me that this time tomorrow i will have a new car... though i am excited for the beloved smell that is of a new car

Car will only go through PDI and all other checks once manufacturer has recieved and documented everything.. then they will have it signed off and the car is given the thumbs up for delivery or collection.. so that is true. (Was told this at purchase of my previous car)

The paperwork will get sent to me once the car arrives at dealer but yes you’re right it won’t get released until it’s all done. However that doesn’t affect the car getting delivered to the dealer.

I thought I'd ask as I still thought you'd get it before xmas. Have you checked in with Audi Live Chat recently? Their updates have been a day ahead of the tracker (for the last couple of stages at least).

Haha no, they were telling the truth for once! Yeah spoke to Audi live chat this morning and it’s still awaiting an assignment to a transporter. Christmas is definitely out of the window now hah!
Tracker now at 70...actual timing was 2 months from placing order to at dealers. 2 weeks to dealer after leaving Ingolstadt.

When you're checking it appears to be best to check after 01:15 to allow updates to filter through (with the exception of status 21 through to 24 which happen at midnight). As said by OPs, car is usually built by your build date and leaves the factory the next day.

Has anyone successfully tracked a build if they are leasing through a broker ? My broker supplied me a SIL number (x8 numerical characters) : does that sound like what I need, alongside the post code ? He reckons it won't appear on the Audi tracker before the new year because of the xmas break.
I tracked my lease through my broker.. it needs to be their postcode and details with the order number
From memory of the thread stalking I've done, the postcode from the broker should be ok as they should have confirmed with the dealer as to which postcode was used to raise the order. Some have used dealer postcode, others suggest an Audi generic one (sorry can't remember which page on this thread but recent).
And yes the order number is 8 numerics long.
Is it a recent order? Dealers can sometimes be slow raising an order but if you have a ref it suggests the order is on the system. Some posters have said it can be at least 1 week before appearing on the tracker. There's also the xmas closure at the factory (think that still happens) that may slow down tracker updates.

I've just managed to log onto 'YourAudi' for the first time. I used brokers postcode & company name together with my order number. Thanks for the advice above guys.
Interesting to see my build date has moved forward from 12th Feb to 20th Jan. I'm wondering if I ordered my BE just in time to beat the huge delay with the 19"rotors? (Ordered car on 6th November)
Also noticed the front disc spec is 'perforated'? Never seen perforated discs on an S-Line? Typo maybe?

I think the Rotor issue is probably just old news now. My BE was ordered in July, I didn't get an order number until mid August, the tracker didn't give a build date until almost mid October and was then built by the first week of November, even though the build date was starting 6th November......So yours could still move forward a bit more. I'd say the supply problem is sorted with the Rotors, no doubt helped by now offering the 5V Spoke wheels too.

Should be about right, but does have an element of luck. Mine was supposed to be 6th November, but actually started being built the week before and I picked it up on 28th November. Having said that, @AlnSaz had the same build week and came out the factory around the same day as mine, yet he didn't get his hands on it until the 14th December.

I have been at status 40 for a week now. I have a feeling it’ll be another week at that status now with it being Christmas. I reckon the transport company probably won’t do anything tomorrow or the few days next week in between Christmas and new year. Girlfriend is getting sick of me checking the tracker first thing when I wake up haha!It's silly that yours gets to the UK before mine gets on a ship yet now it's gone the other way. If it's any consolation, once it gets to the dealers and you have nothing to track it gets pretty boring!
I'm even considering tracking my finance docs that I've posted back to the dealer even though I've only posted them today and it's the Christmas period. I miss the 1:15am hit of Audi tracker.
No car till 1st week of the new year at the earliest for me. I'm guessing yours will catch up soon and we'll be on the same week for delivery.
