Glad you got there in the end and that you're pleased with it. I must say, the BE with Rotors does look the nuts in white. Next time mine is cleaned, I'll have to take some pics.

Cheers Paul - the order to delivery saga was a long one but worth it in the end. Very pleased!
If it is any consolation we will be collecting our new fiesta in january 2018 after having ordered also in july..

Yes sadly not before xmas for me, still at status 38 so not on a boat yet. Here's the usual blurb from Audi Live Chat the other day:It can take anything up to 10 days to get to the dealer mate
'Your vehicle is currently in the port of exit (Emden). Once at the Port, vehicles can wait up to 14 days to be loaded onto a boat for the UK. If the ship arrives during the working week, vehicles take on average 24 hours to be unloaded. Your car can then waits for up to one week to be assigned to a transporter for delivery to the Audi Centre. Once the vehicle is on the transporter the timescale for delivery to the Audi Centre is three to five working days.'
That would be fantastic! I hope you do get it soon. Strangely hearing of someone else's toy getting delivered quickly is just as exciting!Love that picture as it’s the same spec as mine
I also hope more of us on here get deliveries before 2018 To keep us busy with pics over the hols.
Thats actually very slow service.. would have expected it to atleast have reached UK and be nearly ready for delivery to dealer

Just for reference mine took 2 days.. vessel arrives every other day so it should be here by monday if all goes well.. looks like christmas delivey may be on for you mate!
So Audi Live Chat confirm that the car was on a ship Friday 15.12.17 (I got status 39 at 1AM on Saturday 16.12.17). They stated the ship name as 'CITY OF ROTTERDAM' and checking marinetraffic.com it looked like it was already docked in Tyne..so, so close but just can't have it yet!

Nearly there mate!! I reckon you’ll be on for a pickup between Xmas and new year! I’m still on status 40. Been there since Thursday. I’m hoping it’s on a transporter in the next day or so!
It’s good that Audi chat helped you, when I messaged them they said they couldn’t help with tracking of orders!
I was just about to ask how yours is doing. I would like to think you could have it this week. What did the dealer say?
I assume you got a lazy agent, as they appear to get the info in minutes. If it helps each time I went on I gave my order ref and the status before asking for the exact location to be confirmed by them. They were straight onto it on both instances.
I checked marinetraffic.com and 'CITY OF ROTTERDAM' had left TYNE early this morning heading back to EMDEN so in theory my car should have been unloaded and at the dock. Hopefully this helps anyone at status 39 on or before Friday and expecting a ship into Tyne.

The dealer played it safe and just said it takes up to 10 days from the time it lands in the UK, but that’s just a standard response from Audi. Either way it’s way ahead of schedule and the whole build to Grimsby timescale has been very quick so can’t complain. I’m just impatient hah! Luckily the dealer said I won’t have to go sign paperwork before hand as they have e signature documents now so I just sign them on my phone and then pick the car up when it’s ready. I even had the valuation done over the phone for my 4 series m sport that I’m trading in. By the way what’s the spec of your car?
Spec wise I wanted what you have ordered if it's pretty much like the pic I shared earlier. But I'm on a budget so had to limit the options.

The forum made me (that's what I told the Mrs) try and get the spec amended to include the light and vision pack but it was too late.
The magma red seats on brilliant black is a gorgeous combination.. you won't be disappointed..
Yep, I'm collecting this Wednesday mate.. I'm not going to lie, but it's not yet sunk in for me as such so i'm not that excited as i should be

I'm the guy that chickens out. I turned down an S4 deal last month because I'm too sensible. I'm very jealous of your order. Looking forward to seeing it soon. Wish you all the health to enjoy.

We had to choose options very carefully. Really wanted C & S pack but was a step too far.
Storage pack was a no brainer for us at £175 as we travel a lot and cup holders in rear armrest is a good thing with teen kids in the back.

I had the storage pack in my A3 Saloon and loved the fact it kept my road maps nice and neat behind the seat lol.
Had to have the B&O sound system, Love my music. Can’t wait.
Keep me updated with yours....I’ll post some pics where she’s here (should be March)

TBH the S4 deal is still available. But a few quid per month dearer than car I've ordered and although the power would be very very nice a standard spec S4 (without Black Edition, tech pack, matrix, reversing camera, storage pack and more) would bug me. And I'm not in a posision to add any options.
However, one day I'll live a little.

One of the things I will be discussing with the dealer on Wednesday is about possibly cancelling in order to upgrade... because these S4 deals are very very tempting.. But i want to get used to the A4 as I've had a very different driving experience in my past year + with my hilux.. so i need to get my groove back with smaller cars and the refinement that they have compared to something so big and heavy..
