Worst detailing things you've seen?

Yesterday morning I went outside and saw my neighbor using a hard bristled yard brush to brush the snow off his car!!! He saw my face and said "What's up?", I didn't reply lol.

After washing his alloys with a sponge and then going straight to paintwork without even rinsing sponge

Everyday I see hundreds of people actually driving their cars! I mean come on, these things are just for sitting in and admiring no? Best way to keep a car clean, don’t drive it! :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I once worked in a residential home for wayward teenagers and my role was to teach car maintenance. I asked one of them to wash our new v8 long wheelbase land rover, didn't think to give him any advice just supplied him with a bucket and sponge. Came back to find the vehicle very clean and matt looking after he'd finished washing it with a green scouring pad...
