Hopefully it will not just be a re-hash of Empire Strikes Back, but I am soooo looking forward to it anyway!

I’m avoiding exposure to Q&As, reviews etc for just that reason! Watching the extended trailer was a mini spoiler for me so I’m keeping away!

Back to the search for an RS5

Twitter is full of knobs that can’t keep their trap shut.

The world of ****** social media.

Saying that Holly Willoughby dropped a spoiler this morning apparently
Luckily I’d read about that elsewhere.

Luckily for me the internet has been crap at work so no chance to get spoilered!!

Imax this afternoon... Oh Yes, oh yes indeed...

Oh my. Return to form and I am going to watch it again!

Some really well-shot scenes, great action and some surprises.

Overall 9/10 from me...

After the initial euforia yesterday, and some more analysing, there is one scene which is a bit cringe-worthy with some "WTF" about it...

I wonder if anyone else will notice it, without giving anything away...!

Still sticking with the 9/10 though.

One word: The movie is awesome! I haven't expected much, to be honest... but got pretty excited right after the classic intro :sentimental: Can't say much to not spoil it for others...

Best regards,

Hank

Ahhh man. I have to wait until the 30th to watch it. The spoiler I was told I think is untrue from what i've read without ruining it for me.

When I was getting my coffee this morning one of the guys that work there said to me it was good but don't expect too much from it? He thought it was over hyped and not the best one?

But its killing me inside. I've come off all social media and any news feeds on my phone or laptop come up on it I have deleted straight away!!!! Some pr!ck on instagram told me a spoiler about 'the force awakens' so i'm telling everybody to F off and say nothing about it when i'm in the room. 12 days left to hide from the world

Watched this yesterday at the IMAX 3D in Telford whilst the wife and mother in law did their Xmas shopping. Think I got the better end of the deal :) .
Seemed to be quite a few times when I found myself laughing at what was happening on screen. Definitely worth watching, not sure how many more films they can make, the next one is due in 2 years time around December so will probably plan a shopping trip the same as yesterday. Win Win for me.

As good as Empire, or the best since Empire.....is what I was hearing so I expected to be blown away.

It's no where near Empire, still good and i'm not about to ruin it for anyone, however, for me, it lacked something that even by the end I couldn't really put my finger on. Others have loved it and I did in parts but I expected better, on par at least with the suspense and drama of Force Awakens but I was left wanting.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, watched the original in 1977 when it was released ( i was 3) and hooked ever since. Not sure how long they can keep this going but the new owners will want to cash in for years and generations to come so I hope the depth and intensity remains.

Finally watched it. The first half of it I was not that impressed and I thought to myself 'oh no this is going to be poor' but second half I was on the edge of my seat and blown away. Couple of nice touches in there to remind you of the original trilogy but overall it's very good. But for me 2 questions are unanswered???

I actually thought the first part with Poe vs dreadnought cannons was superbly staged.........

From the point it developed into essentially a long 'chase' / Luke acting like a grumpy old man, was where it went down hill for me and don't even get me started on Leia/poppins gate........

That scene was good but some of the early jokes in it were just not funny and unnecessary I thought. I wanted it to be a little bit more darker like 'revenge of the sith' was. But now it being owned by Disney I guess it has to be more family friendly. But I'm hoping these questions will be answered in the final one. I know there's books and comics that answer a few things. Like C3PO red arm there's a massive story how he got it. I give it 7 out 10 overall. But that part with Leia I really liked myself
