Hi folks, thought i'd introduce myself as no doubt i'll have a few q's.
I've had a few A3's and the family mobile is currently a Q3. I've got a 2.0 16V 205GTI in my garage and my current toy is/was a modified Mini R53 JCW, but I fancied a change and something a bit modern.
After looking about for a few weeks i found the S1 i wanted a long long way away. So I went and got a test drive of a new S1 at a local dealer to make sure i liked them, and then quickly put a deposit down on the one i'd seen down south.
So, yesterday at midnight i drove nearly 7hrs down to Aylesbury, dropped the hired car off and picked up my S1. (The guy's at AT Performance were very helpful and done what they could to assist, and had the car sitting spanking for me).
2015, FSH, Internal and Internal Quattro packs, and only 8271 miles on the clock, it was like brand new.
Nursed it up the motorways until i was about 15 miles from home and heavy snow came on, so i headed for the windy stuff, and the smiles began.
Amazing. I think we're going to get on just fine!
