I recent thread has prompted me to make this little game, which I'm sure we all play in our head often...

You have £250,000 (or whatever that works out in your currency for non UK friends) to spend on vehicles. They can be used or new and need to serve your everyday, track, long distance etc needs.

You can have multiple cars...

What are you going to buy with your £250k?

Simple,

An RS4 for "touring"
A Fiat 124 Abarth just for fun
And a Suzuki Jimny for the Islands in the summer :)

With the change from the 250K I could have them maintained for many years and not worry about a thing !!!

Just that? Nothing else?

I don’t think I can buy a lot of other cars with the remaining money
Maybe an used TT RS to tune as much as possible.

My 1st choice is the Lambo. After maybe a 911 Turbo S.

Used C63s estate for family uses and wife's scooter. Fitted with a towbar (even though it's illegal) to tow:
Used Lotus Elsie/Exage for track day fun.
Used TTRS to keep in the garage polished up ready for Sunday drives.

Or forget the above and get any McLaren.

£250,000

Eh.......A R8 V10 plus Spyder in exclusive San Marino Blue paint with a exclusive matching interior

Daily would be a new RS4 again exclusive Nogaro blue and fully loaded to the max..... Think both together come in under £250,000

Well if it happens then a spanking m5 touring xdrive for day to day. A focus rs for a quick backroad blast.
A fiesta st for the occasional blast becauses it is still the sweetest drive.

I'm sure i could find something else to spend the left overs on.

I would go for a top spec Range Rover Sport SVR and a top spec RS6.

Haha... interesting choices all round.

I'd have a Mclaren 720 S at around £220,000... then spend £14,000 on a used Clio RS220 Trophy... I'd need the other £18k for petrol lol.

£250k doesn't go very far... :(

720
Clio

I'd like a Bentley Continental GT (the new one) and the rest can go on fuel and running costs..................

1) rs6 90k - for the do it all
2) Porsche Cayenne whatever the top engine is and all the extras - not sure how much they’re worth - for the lugging about
3) r8 LMS - fun

Porsche Macan for daily use £80k
1

Jaguar F-Type for fun and weekends away £92k
2

Porsche 718 Boxster for summer driving £78k

Daily - S6 Avant
Weekend/Summer - SL400 (I now realise I should have bought the Sl500 though).
Something special - Ferrari FF

First two I've managed so far. Third one I'm actively looking, maybe next year.

  1. Whatever the good lady wife wants
  2. Volvo FH12 Globetrotter for work
  3. Used SQ5 diesel for daily use.

An RS4 for daily use and touring... a
TT RS convertible, and a VW Transporter... with the money left over a few classics!
