Hi

Hopefully I’m posting in the right forum.

I’m looking to replace my injectors, I have the right part numbers from Audi.

My engine is a 2.5tdi V6 AKE
I have seen some injectors for sale with the right part numbers but they came from engines with different model codes

Question is will they be a direct replacement, one set I had seen came from an Allroad with my engine code, would they be better? i.e have slightly bigger nozzles.

Thanks in advance

Only real way to tell is cross-reference with Audi for part number.

More importantly if you're swapping injectors or using second hand ones is to have them checked on test bed rig for spray pattern, etc. You've no idea how long donor engine has been sitting or if the replacement injectors are goosed.

Thanks for the reply, haven’t had a chance to have a look at anything car related, 10 week old baby daughter taking up all spare time at the moment. Reason I asked was I had my fuel pump replaced by the local Audi independent who then advised me my injector N3 was dead. Car hasn’t been the same since then, lower on power and lower MPG. Thought if I changed injector then had it timed again might solve the issues. Any one have recommendations on injector testing companies? Otherwise it’s great for a 16 year old car, I was thinking maybe inter coolers might need cleaning out, all advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
