CarPlay sound settings

What do you mean "from the MMI"?
Sound settings are stored separately for each source. When I have my iPod connected, I can configure the sound settings independently of those for the radio, for example. If CarPlay doesn't allow the settings to be changed, does it share settings with another source? I can't find any info on this at all.
Press the 'Menu' button and then navigate to 'Sound'. All the settings are there but in some of the A/S3s the sound settings reset frequently which is very annoying! There are a few other threads about that issue should it happen to you. Hope this helps 
Anyone know if it’s possible to set the volume so that when you first turn car on the volume is low, rather than at what ever level you were listening at previously?
Presvious cars I’ve had all did this, I keep getting my ears blasted first thing in the morning after listening to something loudly the night before.

And it always starts with volume whereas I would like it to start muted if that’s what I set it the previous time. Where oh where do these designers come up with their ideas?

That really annoys me too. I don’t always want music!! If I muted it the last time I was driving I don’t want to hear music immediately when I next start the car. Same thing with the MMI screen. It just has to pop up even if I got rid of the annoying thing the last time.

I have noticed media connections always start playing. If you switch to Radio and mute, when you next start it will stay muted. It seems to be a software issue with Media.
