Its an auxin & it needs to be coded to work if not already, plus a reset of RNS.

@NHN ive coded it in the instrument panel but no communication with nav or radio its been retrofitted as there is an iso cable fitted I believe theres 2 wires that need swapping for the k-line ??

Any advice ?

I purchased that Aux cable for my MK1 RNS-E, all I had to do was plug it in, use VCDS to code the AUX function (add 4 onto the second for last digit under 37 Navigation, 07 Coding) into the unit and then hold down the Radio button and Setup button together to reboot the RNS-E and it woks fine
I do find the AUX input very quiet though so the volume has to be cranked quite loud to hear it

Yeah i wish it was as easy mate but ive no comms with the nav unit and I believe this had been retrofitted and ive read that the kline wire needs switching round in order to get comms and code the AUX function

Only thing i can suggest mate is plug it into a car that it can communicate with and the just do it that way? maybe someone local on the forum has a sat nav as standard and you can plug yours into their car to code the aux in. Where are you located?

too far for me but if someone is close im sure they wouldn't mind helping you do that. dont see why that wouldn't work

The quadlock interface is for a BT module thats been retrofitted, i have since checked my PR codes and the RNS-E was fitted at factory, and im still getting no comms with the Nav unit with the original loom quadlock fitted after swapping over the blue and green connectors back into the original quadlock im going to try get comms at work today using ODIS.
