Hi there, just wondering if someone could offer some advice. I am not sure of what is actually mechanically/electrically happening but under fairly heavy acceleration, my heated seats are noticeably warming up. I am wondering if this is normal activity given the electrical set up of the car, or whether there's an underlying issue and potential fire hazard risk!
Any advice would be most welcome!

No that's not normal unless it's your *** heat :p.

How hot, gauge via the actual heated seats settings 1, 2 or 3

The seats were set to "2". It doesn't get particularly hot, nothing like what it feels at "6" but noticeably warmer!
Is this an alternator issue?

Sorry I'm getting confused with a different chassis.

Does it have start stop eco features, this maybe something I've not heard of tbh, it's possible it's dialling it down purposely, but it's new to me.

No, it's not got stop start technology. The full thing is quite odd, indeed. Is it maybe drawing more voltage from the battery, somehow?

Owner of an 08 S5 and can confirm my seats DO NOT do this. Sorry can’t help other than confirming that :/
