Lucky you! I still haven't been assigned a build week despite ordering nearly a month ago, hopefully things move along soon.. Was told yesterday that I could be waiting up to another 3 weeks until I am assigned one.Moved to panel shop the morning! That's nearly a week early. Hopefully after the long wait the last few stages will go very quickly. Excitement is building

And me!I'm guessing you're about to see status 22 this morning like me......in the paint shop already
Possibly contact Audi UK live chat, see if they can help they are usually a lot more helpful than the dealer. Hopefully you're already past the rotor issue as you're in QC but it will be interesting to see what they say.I've had my BE on order since July but seem to be stuck in QC, when I check the JSOP it says status 20 even though the car was at status 24 last month?
I suppose there's always the chance that something was picked up in QC. On the plus side (for me), mine was only in QC for 1 day and left the factory on the 7th......hopefully with the right wheels!I've had my BE on order since July but seem to be stuck in QC, when I check the JSOP it says status 20 even though the car was at status 24 last month?
The funny thing about this car ordering thing is that when I ordered (31/07), the dealer told me to expect delivery around the end of November. That was before the emissions hold up and then the order not progressing to even status 10 until early October due to the wheels issue. Today I've got status 40, on it's way to the dealer!
You're right, I must've got a bit over excited.......and it looks like it's still at Sheerness today.Status 40 is waiting for pick up from UK docks not on its way to dealer. But should only be a week or so max till at your dealers
Hi guys. This is my first post on here! I went into a dealership on Saturday and ordered the A4 Black Edition with the standard 19” wheels. Then read about all of the supply issues on here. Then got a call from dealer today. Audi aren’t accepting any more orders for this model with the 19” rotors. I can select the gloss black 18s or wait and see if an alternative becomes available. But there’s no indication of how long that might take.
I’m pretty gutted, as thought the black edition in brilliant black with the 19” wheels looks awesome. But in order to actually get a car by the date I need one, I think I’m gonna have to reluctantly switch to the gloss black ones.
Anyone else heard about this halting of orders from a dealership? Cheers.
When this wheel issue came up on my order, the dealer categorically told me the only option they had was what we see on the configurator. It's a bit like me asking for the BE, but without the blackened rear windows.......I suggested they could simply use the normal glass - but they can't just swap things about like that. Given the deal I had on the car, I'm guessing they had too little left in it to have it built with the black wheels and then go and give me another set of wheels and tyres once the car was at the dealers.I’ve asked whether they could swap them for the 18" x 8J '5-spoke dynamic' design alloy wheels, diamond cut finish with 245/40 R18 tyres. (£150 option for S-Line). Will see what they say.
In case this helps, here's a video my dealer sent me to show the car with the black wheels.Hi guys. This is my first post on here! Have a look on eBay and YouTube. Plenty of vids of the black wheels on the black edition on there. I personally think they look good and I did consider them for a while. I just think the 19”s fill the wheel arch a little better as it’s quite a large arch. Thanks Paul! That combo does look pretty great actually. Maybe it’s the website renders that don’t do it justice.

I did think about them, but could afford to wait... Did wonder if they were ever going to come through though!Congrats on your build date! I caved and went for the black wheels. I do like them more now.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new car!Just at the dealer collecting mine now. My sales exec just told me mine was one of the last to go through with rotors so I was really lucky. Hope you guys don’t have to wait long or get a happy alternative.
I got my build week today also after ordering start of October! Build date of 12 Feb for me..So, after what has seemed an absolute eternity (order was placed mid September) , I finally have a build date of 22nd January!
Now the long painful wait for it to arrive.
Best result if they're the wheels you wanted you'd always look at the car and not quite feel the same about it as nice as it would have been.I got a call from my dealership today. The rotors are back in stock so they’ve changed my order to include them, estimated build week 5 I think he said. Good news!

So despite me being assigned a build week and me thinking that the 19" alloy issue was resolved, I have just received this email from my dealer..
Hi Jamie – hope your well.
Some updates for you on the factory order we’ve placed for you.
Your alloy wheel is going to be change to a different finish as an extra alloy wheel choice for A4 Black Edition
This create a greater supply of A4 Black Editions, we’ve made a third alloy wheel option available for this trim. The alloy wheel PQI is now a no-cost option on Black Edition; this wheel is currently a cost option on S line and S4 models.
This is really good news for you and we’ll advise further later in December.
Best regards.
Bare in mind I have not seen which the alloys in question, and the dealer/Audi have just decided to change these.. Has anybody else heard anything similar? Obviously I could prefer these new alloys, and it could potentially speed up my order which would be happy days, but on the other hand I could prefer the previous alloys which I chose on order!

Would you choose them over the BE 19" alloys? I'm not sure I would.. I will check my JSON now also to see if it has changed.Ive not been told anything like that from my dealer. Just checked the json file for my order and it is definitely showing the rotors, so seems its not all orders.
Agree with Daggerit that it is the vspoke. Would be the ones I'd choose if I couldn't have the black rotors.
