I don't think this is normal: I had the same problem with a pre FL, got them changed after a bit of a fight.

You've a case for replacement mate, but to stop it...... When you get a new cover is, You need to keep yer butt from hitting the bolster...... Like holding on to the steering wheel..... To support ye as you get in the car... One foot in the foot well holding the steering wheel whilst keeping yer **** from hitting the bolster... Then lift yer other leg in.... Simples lol and I kid you not.... The bolster cushions are as soft as....... Jobbies lol

To be honest though, we shouldn't have to contort ourselves to get into a seat without it creasing the bolsters...

I use this method to plank my 36" waist within the seat. I have a bit of a bum knee (pun intended) and I place my gluteus maximus onto the seat at a cross angle and then swivel my body to the forward driving position and reverse this so I have two feet on the ground on exiting. I have one small crease on the bolster after 9 months.

This is fairly normal for leather seats. Before I purchased my TT, I went onto the TT forum and the leather seats were a major issue. So I deselect leather and had no problems and I did the same with my S3 and have no issues.
It's not normal at all, l have had numerous cars with leather and none of them buckle like @Rolly12 seats or the other member, this defect is caused by loose fitted leather in conjunction with soft cushioning under the leather...... It's problem all Audi's can suffer especially if you drag yer derriere across them, l mean the bolsters aren't even that large, for instance l had recaros in one of my cars with large side bolsters and it only had one slight crease on the lower side bolster after 30months....... Audi are well aware of this defect but stupidly do nothing about it
The seats have leather bolsters and back panels, they have no creases whatsoever. On the TT the main problem was sagging in the seat.
Mate we got our cars virtually at the same time, and my drivers seat looks just like it did on collection day...... So get it booked in
Mine wasn't long after... You won't get anything from Audi from it. I wouldn't waste your time pursuing, everyone has it.
Mine looks similar and looked that way when I bought it with 3,000 miles. It's not gotten progressively worse in the 5,000 miles I've put on the car myself. I would say it's normal unless you're absolutely focused on not coming in contact with the bolster during ingress and egress and can ensure you always remain that way. I'd be much more bothered by it if I hadn't gotten nearly a third off the car as compared to the as-new price.
Would I prefer for it to be perfect? Sure, but it's not so noticeable as to be bothersome. I'm much more annoyed by the steering wheel leather.

I had my A3 since 2014 and the Chesnut Brown Sports seats are starting to fade away a bit on the bolster on the driver side.
Also I notice there's a little bit of buckling on the chrome line trim surrounding the MMI Navigation.

The leather is much glossier than I care for. It was that way when I got it, and I've tried to clean it with diluted Woolite and a toothbrush but didn't have much success removing the sheen. It hasn't gotten worse since I've had it, but I'd really like for it to be better. It's a shame that the wheel in my Sportwagen, with 4,000 more miles, looks substantially better, but then I bought that one new and was able to follow my regimen from new- wash hands immediately before driving and don't eat in the car while driving.
Oh well.
Mine are the same.7500 miles & not got any worse. I don't mind it, same as leather shoes always get a bit of creasing.
Not conditioner.... Swissvax glaze reduces friction and keeps leather looking new

Be very careful with the products you use to clean and protect leather. A lot of the single wipe products are junk and will leave a shiny finish. I use Furniture Clinic products which are great for car use also and not expensive.
My seats have a few small creases in the drivers right hand side bolster but to be expected. The lighter leather does a great job at hiding this tho.

Last car has Lunar and this one Rotro grey, so a must and normally find one full application lasts 12 months minimum.
All that is needed thereafter is the occasional wipe with the Dr Leather wipes to remove any dirt but really this stuff is amazing and hardly lets anything transfer anyway, while keeping the factory finish and feel.

I am a Great believer in that you only get what you pay for with car care products.... Etc anyways besides all that subjective malarkey.... It's how you get in and of the car and more importantly what frickin size you are..... Am a slim jim....and When Sat into the drivers seat my thighs don't even hit the outer seat bolsters.... Etc etc also l find the A3 ain't the easiest car to get in and of..... as the seats are fixed quite a bit into the interior...... So..... all you Rugby scrum half sized guys..... Less of the pies...lol

Same technique here as I have got 2 artificial knees and my old SB had nonsign of wear after 18 months and only a slight creasing on the Saloon drivers seat after 5 months
Two of my SSS seat base covers have defects that potentially will be seeing a warranty claim. Typical when I don’t remove the covers at the dealer.
