anybody planning to do this with the new facelift RS,as you keep your warranty with Audi
460 bhp-530 nm of torque

Afaik ABT offer their own warranty to cover engine etc. No way will Audi give warranty cover if they find out your car is tuned.

Yup, but the warranty is then superseded by the ABT one... which is not worth the paper its written on.

My Audi dealership offers remaps under warranty. When asked it turns out that they use a tuning company down the road and the dealership group owner then underwrites the vehicles warranty with revised terms and conditions lol

Hmmm you would want an Audi warranty rather than a franchised dealership one.... once the dealership changes hands your goose is ******!

Oh you can imagine it can’t you. If Audi charge £1600 for a software box tick to remove a limiter, I dread to think what the key to extra performance would be.

A local tuner near me with a good reputation is tied up with a warranty provider, but despite this refuses to touch my car with 2.5 years left to run on its warranty (I had in mind to maybe buy AoonM's discarded Stage 3 pieces and have them installed and mapped in) as he says Audi, whom he used to work for, are notoriously good at wriggling out of warranty claims and use any excuse possible...
Quite decent of him I guess, many would take the money and run!
