Plenty to think about over winter :)

Personally, I prefer the above style over plain aluminium sheets as these would compliment bonnet vents

So..oooooooooooooooooooooo

Has anybody used a fender roller ???????????????
http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/arch-rolling-on-the-audi-a4.153174/

Just askin :)

I have seen a YouTube video of someone rolling fenders on her BMW and that was the last time I typed ‘rolling fenders’ in YouTube search. I then cleared my watch history to make sure I don’t get any more ‘recommendations’ let alone search one

This my friend is way above my skill level. I am sure @Chop. would’ve thought about it if not done already.

Haha I like the driving over the scaffold pole solution :grimacing:

No much happening on the car front for me, Iv actually been having thoughts of moving on from the s4 so that's kind of halted the spending for now

Haha I know it's a tough one but I'll be at 100k miles soon so I don't really want to spend any more on it

Which is sort of what i do

Yeh Its got plenty life left in it yet and it's awsome to drive but I think I'm getting board a bit

Just need to see what happens, I'm either going to go really daft with it or change it up

Well H&R are saying 2 weeks for the ARBs :(

So getting Eibachs fitted instead :)
They are slightly different but I think the Eibachs may actually be better for reduced understeer

H&R are 30mm front 24mm rear

Eibach are 28mm front 23mm rear

X how do you find the ARB and would you still fit the full kit

I never fitted the front TBH.
Worked perfectly for what I wanted.034 do a rear only ARB for us now

A little something to play with when the weather gets better

I had a kit on my old Astra gte 5 door ( was a cdi with a red top in it ) rear arches right over the rear doors, my solution at the time, take off handles and lock rear doors :tearsofjoy:

My old man had the model down from the exige and it was a beast felt more like a go cart than a car, much fun to drive but not graceful to get in and out off

VX220 is the poor mans Lotus :)
I love the look of em & the you can use an Eaton supercharger on the 2.2 & get 240-250HP safely on stock internals (car weighs around 85oKG)
The chassis is a Lotus Elise but with a slightly longer & wider wheel base :)

I think the 2.2 is the better bet & add a supercharger.
From reading it has better weight distribution than the Turbo lump

Nice addition ( or swop ) to the stable there XP Sure don’t see many VX220 around on the road !

Funny how we develop these hankerings for a car - mine in a similar vein is a Renault Sport Spider ( along with an NSU TT1200 for something for the classic side of the garage !!! ) One day.........

well after much discussion with the boss I'm keeping the s4 now minus the exhaust as I just sold it)
Apparently she likes being in a comfy car not sat on the floor in a 2 seater lol

I have often wondered why they don't move them further from the engine on tuned cars as they seem to have a habit of melting cats on dual pulley... They look the business though! Are you going to keep the standard exhaust but with these down pipes on now rather than getting another full system?
