8v RS3 Spotters Thread

See a nice black one today who gave me the nod, plate ending WOW, sounded pretty epic!
 
Nice shinny Blue one with the shark fins on the wheels painted Red at Newbridge round about on Wednesday.
We were both sitting at the Red lights together.
I'd of went for it if I wasn't in my Ford Ranger :whistle2:
 
Saw 4 over PFLs over the weekend!

Can't remember exact details but it was on Saturday on a drive from Surrey to Worthing and back.
Sorry, not got any more details than that.
My son spotted them all. I can never tell an RS3 over an S3.

Beautiful 67 reg Blue RS3 parked up near Holiday inn express Perth Saturday morning. Owner must have been at work.
 
I also seen an Ara blue SB with black pack and black wheels. The colour really is stunning with the black back to contrast against it
 
Spotted a pale blue RS3 on the Imax roundabout at Waterloo.

Very weird colour for an Rs. Something like this. A bit girly...

Evo was only using that picture to give an example of the colour, that he saw something similar on an RS3 :)

No worries.

Not sure if I have actually even seen that colour before in my life... perhaps on an old Fiat.
I assume it was custom at the time.

Spotted a nice black FL rs3 sportback in a transporter on the m180 near Grimsby, aluminium styling red brake calipers
 
FL SB in a blue colour (I won’t even begin to guess if it was Nogaro etc) parked up outside Blyth police station on Friday morning.
 
Stunning FL Ara Blue RS3 behind me in Cirencester Mcdonalds drive-thru yesterday.
 
RS3 FL saloon! In white on M25 turning off to A3 this morning about 0930. Looked great.

That is going to be a rare colour for the car methinks.
Did it make it look wider and more squat? White can look really good on some cars.
 
Looked really nice, did seem wider than S3. Spotted as RS3 but confused me initially as never seen one on the road before!

Twas a great colour for the original Audi Quattro.
If I got a white rally-type car now then I would put a rally livery on it. Just so I look as big a knob as I sound :)

Audi, Walton-on-Thames, have a darkish blue FL RS3 in their window.
I can't tell which exact blue it is. It has the titanium rotors.
I will pop in to have a closer look.
 
Does anyone know how many FL cars are being released in the UK? They do seem pretty rate.

Since beginning to think about buying an RS4 about a year ago I have only seen 4 on the road - I have been doing 15k miles pa on either the M25 or North Circular/ A12 too. I have seen about 20 McLarens in that time.....

Not many by the looks of it I reckon a few dozen per registration.
If you go on to www.howmanyleft.co.uk and search RS3 it gives you cumulative figures plus SORN and it's not currently showing Q3 which we're in now for 67plate regs.
So I guess when Q3 figures come subtract the Q2 figures however looking at previous numbers on the table and it's not quite that simple...

That was me mate you had a private plate heading towards A13.

Yes it is lowered I recalibrated the mag ride myself.

I’m personally not sure on the feel of springs,coils, on magnetorheological dampers, too harsh.

Your car was gleaming & I’m sure you had Ali pack.

That may well be me in the white and got couple mates with nardos local as well mines the loouuud white one no plate short tinted one on the rear
 
Rs3 coming off at the burnham on sea junction of the M5 yesterday between 18:30-19:00.
Shot off from the roundabout
 
Overtook a blue RS3 with no front plate on the m40 earlier. Reg was OR53 AWD, tragically spaced to read O RS3 AWD
 
Sat behind a nardo reg rs03 *** just at the end of comercial road eastbound about 4.45pm, I went on to the a13 you went right towards isle of dogs, looked nice
 
If I've seen maybe four RS3's this year, that's it. Definitely not a common sight on roads near me.
 
I have seen 4 and that is having driven the best part 20,000 miles around London - not common at all.
