ha ha yeah very similar.

I don't dislike the saloon alloys, but just an unusual 'look' for Audi and not very original.

More so when you consider they do have some great alloys designs in the range.

So, it was getting dark by the time that I made it to the dealer.
However, I am really, really happy.
I'll hopefully get some better pictures when I pick it up on Wednesday morning.

Funny thing is, one of my friends who loves BMW told me to put rotors on my S3. It seems like it has some recognition for being used on high performance cars.

I'm with you on the care required. I've lived with Estoril on my S3 for the past 4 years. Lots of TLC needed but looks great in the sun.

I also wanted a subtle look. I'm very happy with the result.

Thanks for all of your positive comments. I can't stop looking at the photos - evry excited. I'm quite looking forward to Wednesday. Weather is predicted as good at the moment too.....

Think of it this way; It would look pretty similar / identical to the unkeen eye, imagine telling the Neighbours your car that is £10-£15k more is literally identical to most people.

Mine should be getting collected from the detailer on Tuesday / Wednesday having had PPF, being dropped straight back off to the local detailer though for ceramic coating :’( BUT, I have a 150 mile drive home first.

Plenty of photos from Wednesday please!!

Good to see the colour I want to order, not enough of them around. The standard wheels don't look too bad on floret silver but seeing that has helped me decide that red brakes and pan roof would complete the look.

Yeah pan roof would have been v nice but already spent a lot on options so didn't tick it. I was worried the std wheels would look bad on a silver car but pleased to say they look good in real. I didn't go for red brakes as I wanted a low key look and the black goes well with the rest of the black trim etc.

Will get some more pics up tomorrow

Yeah true. It's one of the reasons I've waited to the get the RS3, hoping I can get a bigger discount as the demand seems to be going down then I can fit those options in. I'm in no rush anyway, enjoying the S3.

As with all my cars it’ll be treated to a full going over with the DA and various compounds etc when the spring arrives.
