I think it's pretty normal to spend about 10 days in QC, that's what mine was. After leaving the factory it took mine 13 days to get on a ship, and was in the UK the next day. There's then another week or so for the car to be transported to the dealer.
However, I think my car hit Emden when they were having backlog problems. I was watching all the marine traffic and there was about 5 shipments to Grimsby in a 3 day window, which is a lot more than usual. If that was them clearing the backlog, you might not be waiting so long to get onto a ship.
