Facelift WHEEL FITMENTS - UPGRADING TO 20"

Could someone please help me understand what sizes id need to get if i upgraded to 20". ive got absoloutly no clue. Ive always been happy with the wheels that have came on my car but would like to change these so this is all new to me.

Would 8.5 x 20 ET40 fit all round? What would be the best tire size to fit to that?

i dont want anything rubbing or poking out to much.

I also plan on lowering it on H&R springs too.

Any help would be appreciated.

ET40 will get a little close to the arch i think. Think you want a wheel with ET45 really.

I'm lowered on H&Rs and rubbing will probably be an issue on that offset.
 
Abt list 20x9 et 40 max on the FL

I tried it yesterday on my car but with incorrect tyres.... and it rubbed on the front..... got new tyres coming so will try and see what happens.

the wheels i really want are only 20ET - 40Et. dont have them in 45ET unfortunately
 
No chance will et20 fit without arch mods

It's not an upgrade as there are dynamic and efficiency losses , you don't see 20" wheels being used in the BTCC .

1. im "upgrading wheel size'
and
2. i dont plan on racing in the BTCC

Horses for courses but too many spokes for me. What a nightmare to clean!! Anyway, hope you enjoy.

When I had the E92 it has the 225M wheels - week by week, I was convinced that they were taking revenge for the war......
