S4 Front Bumper.

Yea read it. I'd assume Audi would supply the right bumper when given the Reg. But i am a little worried about the comment that the wings may be different sizes. from memory bumper bars aren't that expensive either. I'll see what Audi say on tuesday.

Seems i might have it wrong anyhow, i though this was the S4 front bumper

This is the one i want, on checking S4's on ebay i see it had a less beefy bumper. Whats the deal? is the one above just a aftermarket design? i've seen a few about?!?!
I'd rather have my own bumper with kit than the genuine s4,but the one linked above is pukka!

i looked at some of the others but prefered the subtle look of the s4 and the genuine audi quality, the s4 one looks better in real life than on pictures. it changes the front of the car totally but is'nt over the top.

its more squared off at the bottom instead of sloping under so it looks lower to the ground. it is the same height though because the engine undertray lines up ok. it just looks deeper and bigger than a standard one.

Where is the best place to get an S4 front bumper from? (as in cheepest, a replica aftermarket job will do)
and...
From side profile will it sit lower at the front lower than the body sides, and therefore need sideskirts because if so im not interested.

I had the option to change my wings to S4 wings, when i did my s4 bumper, i left them standard, the s4 wings are slightly different ( the arch is slightly wider )this does not affect how the bumper fits. You can buy a new bumper for about £250. you will need to change the bumper shock's.doeboy said:

think facelift a4 wings are same as s4, they have pre + post facelift side mount holes too. has drizz still got his s4 bumper for sale?

Its quite a lot deeper, i bought one, trial fitted it but had to sell it as i could not get over speed humps or on the MOT ramp with it. Shame as i loved it.

take it your car's sitting quite low then? im on standard audi sports suspension, havent had any problems yet with ground clearance. anything worse than a multistorey slope needs care though.

That hight is similar to my front valance. it's slow right near the wheel arch. I was thinking of dropping my car 40mm but i'm worried they'll get knocked and ground when going over bumps and up ramps.

Infact i've just looked and its prob got 50-70mm clearance already so there's no way i'm going to be able to drop it. Its gone for a respray atm but both corners had chipped. Its a shame as even the 18" look too small IMO. I'll post pics in my Gallary when i've had the work done.
