Hi all,
About three weeks into my S3 ownership now, and I've occasionally noticed a strange noise, like a whirring sort of noise. Lasts maybe two seconds then stops.
I've not noticed any pattern, and maybe worth mentioning that is significantly easier to hear when windows are open.
Am I right in saying that the Haldex Quattro system can sometimes be heard doing its thing?
I've also noticed there's a weird rattle around 3k revs, you'd only notice if you sustained those revs, as climbing above drones it out/causes it to stop. But it's not so significant that it sounds out of place, more so charactistic of the engine, may be induction related? Anyhow, not the same noise as the (Quattro) noise above
