My build has begun. Car is in panel shop. Soon it will be real
Mine is in quality control still, but dealer telling me it is at the port awaiting a boat
Checking my car on your audi....it states rs sport suspension. Is that magnetic ride as that's what I ordered
Its not always listed but mine states RS Sports suspesion with magnetic ride if you check on the status checker it will be listed as mag ride.
Just checked the audi configurator and the rs sport suspension is the ****** standard suspension. Will be ****** fuming if it's wrong. Wait all this time for them to make such a basic error is unreal. Let's hope your audi spec is wrong and they put mag ride on. I've asked my dealer to check asap as it's supposedly in qc.
Had that problem myself but when I checked with the dealer it was confirmed that it was included. Others have had the same problem
You will be fine a lot of people have had the same issue its kind of like a glitch in "YourAudi" if you log in to the status checker with the codes it will confirm it on there for peace of mind...

The page is full of code info but if you use the search function to help you look for the options you want to confirm.

in the brochure its code 2H7, so presume the prefix MCHA is for a status of order-build lifecycle

Some peoples cars have come through and the website has matched the process that has happened, others (mine included) have been wide of the mark....... Mine is still saying "In transit" yet its been at the dealers PDI centre since Friday, also the "myAudi" tracker still shows it as waiting for transport from a UK port.

The ports as you might guess are scattered around the countries coast line. The dealerships PDI centre is at Stratford-Upon-Avon quite a distance from the coast. As the "myAudi" site states code 40 "awaiting transportation to the dealer from the port" I would consider that a bit skew-whiff from reality......
Just giving the fellow member my experience of the service he'd enquired about

The tracker is proven to be 2-4 days behind anyway. At least it has arrived anyway, very exciting and can't wait to see pictures.
Nope, no more wheels off or falling off.. just a wonky steering rack and a car confiscated to Audi until further notice! The joys of performance car ownership

I think it's more than 2 days, Mine has been waiting for a boat for over a week now, but my dealer told me the car is in the UK
Has any one had any updates on tracker or from dealer updates on any movement for car stuck at the port emden since last week or the last 2 weeks? Still waiting for allocated a ship or on the way to the UK update...

@Mo Khan - Give Audi customer services a call 0800 699888 or 0845 769 9777, quote them your order number and ask politely WTF's going on..... I did this just over a week ago, they said it was probably going to be shipped in the middle of the following week. It turned out, it was on a ship the following morning - WARNING - It then sat at the bleedin UK port for ages!!!!
I tried that a week back they said it could be at the port for upto 4 weeks before they could so something about it.. bit of a joke that but he said we can't give any false guarnatees on timing.. been stuck since 2nd September.. Frustrating has any one taken delivery who had build in the last 10 days of August? Thanks

Been lurking here for a while so thanks for all of the insight into these cars.
Finally placed the order today for the saloon with a fair number of boxes ticked. In the face of rather stiff resistance I managed to get about 5% off at Watford Audi by shoving a Drive the Deal quote in their face.
Bad news is that the car is going to be an 18 plate .........

Btw - even though selecting the upgraded wheels there was only £800 VED applied
Anyway, give me a chance to save my pennies to drop the balance on them on completion (they took a 10% deposit which I thought was a bit rich....)
Presumably. I had spoken to 4 dealers plus Drive the Deal and they were all talking about 20 - 22 weeks.

At long last mine has left the factory. 12 days in QC. Must have been a real mess to have been in there that long

Jeez Colin, that was bit of a delay!! I hope you have better luck than me on the transportation of your car as my time from factory to the dealership was a day shy of three weeks
Dealer confirmed mikes at code 38 so on it's way to uk. Your Audi states it's on its way from the factory. Doh .

I was really going mad every day look at the tracker when it didn't move. Can just hope the rest goes smoothly. That was some delay on yours as well. My current car took 10 days to get from factory to dealer so guess its all just luck. Still at least I can get a little excited now its moving

So my build is 3 weeks today, extremely excited now! It’s getting pretty real, but I still can’t believe that one day soon I will be driving over to Audi to be faced by my car, that I cannot believe and probably won’t believe it until I collect it.
My build date is 16th October, how long before that can I expect to see it go into Preparation?
Absolutely desperate to see some change on the tracker now!! I’ve planned on the car taking 3 weeks from factory to dealer, I hope it won’t be any longer.. the detailer has been booked for exactly 4 weeks after the build date allowing for prep and transport to the detailer.
Just sat here thinking now about it being real, nah.. can’t be! Dream come true!!!

I really dont understand why some people are having to wait until next year etc.....

Mine went in to production 24th August left factory 2nd sept allocated a ship 3 days ago status 38 still not arrived in the country according to the tracker...
Its All pot luck i guess...

Mines due to go into build this week.... still can't see the damn thing on "youraudi" tracker and have to rely on updates via the online team
