Hello,

Just got used led lights from 2010 years a3 8p and wanted to install into my 2006 8p. I used some tutorial from youtube how to install the lights. Left light worked perfectly, but right light not worked, only one bulb working and all the rest dont. I noticed that after i connected the light and turned the turning signal, few second it was blinking and it stopped. Also the led itself also not working. All bulbs are working as I tried to put the bulbs on my other light, so everything worked. Also i tried to connect my working light and everything worked, but not my right light. So my question is if i could throw the light to container or is there any way to fix it?

Needs wiring changes, its not plugnplay

you mean, wiring changes on the light itselft or on wires and connectors?
Also, can the light be completely broken and not fixible, it happens?

you see, i changes the lights from left to right and one always works, even i tried all bulbs from not working light to put on working one and everything worked...

The cars connector/wiring have to be changed & coded.

so you telling that if connectors/wirring will be changed and coded, the light will start working?
but why my left light working perfectly ?

As I've already stated, connectors & wiring have to be changed & car coded for full functions.

I can't say if yours lights damage or not as I didn't supply, regardless the changes advised must be done for 09 onwards lights to work in a pre 09 sportback.

what about replacing led bulbs? is it hard/expensive?

Have you tried vagcoding he is one of the site sponsors if your close to london

thanks, i understand and will try to do it, but i dont understand why other light works on right side, but another dont work. it seems that connectors are good and looks like its light fault. So i am asking if the same situation have happend to someone and if connectors and wirring changed solved the issue. or could just led tube bulbs fault.

is there not any way you can have someone check the light clustet for you , friend who has an Audi place it in his back light . put it together get a scan done then look at results

When i done my facelift lights i had only 1 boot side work aswell, was scratching my head for ages then I thought id try swap connectors over and that done the job as the wiring pins are opposite to eachother for each side, assuming u have the correct adapters try that see if you get any luck

tried just now, but still not working, only one bulb is working, but no other and no led tube...i think the light is damage itself...

What adapters are you using?

Do you know what wires from car go where on your light cluster .
yes , i am using this video from youtube :

my left light works good. if i connect left light to right connectors the light also works good. but if i connect right light to the left connector, the light wont work same on the right connector. only one bulb is working. also i noticed this: after i connected the right light, i turned on right turning light and it worked for few seconds and stopped.
also, i tried replacing bulbs from the right light to the left and bulbs are working

Sorry i dont have facebook but from what you're saying its either faulty light or bad wiring, if you have a multimeter you could check wiring, or if you knew anyone with same light to try with theirs
