So after just after 6 months of having my titanium rotor arms diamond cut following several altercations with kerbs I’ve decided on going down the route of painting the outer edges of the rims.

Why? The diamond cutting process is expensive here in France and takes an age.

I’d like to keep a similar colour to the diamond cut and was wondering if anyone else has gone down this route and what was the chosen colour/code. Most colours I’ve considered are too bright and sliver.

Any ideas/recommendations will be appreciated.

Don't understand diamond demon cut with it's drawbacks , saw a newish VAG with hypersilver that looked like demon cut .

Nor do I. For sure they look good until the first kerb is hit. I was considering hypersilver but think it may be too blingy when contrasted with the titanium spokes

Diamond cut looks great you just have to look after them; I work for a wheel manufacturer and there is a lot of interest in 2 tone painting now as it’s much more durable

I had mines painted last year. Fine silver on the edge with a mix of 20% silver and 80% black on the rest. Looks diamond cut even up close! Had my two front tyres changed at Audi and they couldn't believe they were painted! Now they're easy to maintain and I don't have to worty about corrosion etc

I went for Brilliant Silver, L8Z8, in the end and it is a good match compared to the others. I have another wheel to repair so I'm going to do all four over the coming weeks. Masking was a right PITA but I am happy with the end product.
