Hi

I have the 2.0 TFSI Manual A4 purchased from new in Dec 2016. I’ve had an issue since new that’s been gradually getting worse. When I start a journey I’d say first 5 - 10 minutes I get momentary loss of power upon acceleration. It only lasts a split second but engine kind of splutters, it also only seems to do it when turning, roundabouts are the worst will do it without fail.

I’m going to get it booked in but anyone else experienced this?

No the initial getaway is fine, it seems the act of turning and shift in body roll seems to cause it, almost feels like the engine is starved of fuel for a split second. However once things have warmed up the issue goes away

That's what I am referring to, what all of us seem to experience, to a lesser or greater degree, is when you come to a roundabout, say coasting, then put your foot down to accelerate, there is a delay. Does that sound like your experience? On my car if I select sport mode it more or less eliminates this but you have a manual gearbox. What happens if you switch to dynamic?
There is quite a lot on this in google https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=a...id-sonymobile&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

I leave in Dynamic all the time, does the lag occur even when already moving or from a stationary start? I can be doing 20 mph on the roundabout and as I turn to it feels like it splutters, the way to explain it is like I’ve dabbled the brakes.

Yeah, I think what you're describing is the `lag` that alot of us are experiencing. Putting it into `Dynamic` does nothing to help the situation on my car.

I have the same problem with a May 2016 manual 2.0l tfsi. So far dealership just say that they can't find anything wrong and haven't been able to recreate it either. I need to book mine in again

Well the guy from Audi assist said it’s a fairly common fault where diagnostics don’t pick up the power loss

I see, not a common issue with the car's pressure sensor per se just the manner in which a fault should it exist is detected...

The only time that I consistently notice the lag is when I do a somewhat sharp right turn into my housing plan and after I make the turn and start to straighten the wheel and start to accelerate again there is the lag for a second or so. It does it about 60% of time and that is the only time I ever have any lag.
