Just a bit of an update for some of you folks who are in the dark about their pending or delayed build slots.
I have spoken to the sales manager at the Audi franchise my order was placed through, and he has told me today that the A4 is drastically oversold to the point that he thinks my order may not be built until March. He specifically said it's not a shortage of 19 inch rotors as some have speculated.
That's just the situation I am in and your orders may be proceeding fine and I hope they are. But the info may help some of you.

Mine has been sat at "left ingoldstadt" for well over a week.
But am I right in thinking my order should be fine if it's already left?

Mine was on that for about a week. If you look at the json data you should be able to see the exact status to know if it's left, or if it's at the port.
how accurate is the youraudi with the options? I can see all the options I picked apart from the manual rear side blinds. However when i look at the JSON data is says the below.

I jokingly speculated mine would end up being an 18 plate........not such a joke now, and still at status 00
Last night I spent some time on the Mercedes website building a C200 and got quotes from Carwow, but even though I actually preferred this when I first decided to change my car, I've got it into my head that I prefer the A4 now.

Mine is still at status 00 as well. I was having another look on contracthireandleasing.com yesterday and for my budget there are plenty of suitable alternatives if this order doesn't go to plan. I ended up ordering my a4 by chance really as I usually have 3 series bm's but fancied a change. I don't like the cheapo looking tablet screen stuck on the c class merc's dashboard or I would have probably ended up with one of those instead.

Actually just checked and it was 31st August when it changed to "left Ingoldstadt"
Slightly worried now. Or is this delay at port typical?
I'm status 38.

I have been reading about the delivery stuff on these Audi's for 2 weeks since I ordered mine. I think it seems lime most are at the dealers within a month of leaving the factory. So yours will most likely look like an A8 under a silver sheet when you check the tracker over the next few days.

I hope so. Although as long as it's ready by 23rd November I don't mind. I'd be ******** if not though with my current car going back on 24th.
I was on 38 for a few days, then yesterday it changed to 39 and is now on the boat (the tracker history json doesn't mention 38 though - but it was at that for a while). So since 31st August seems quite long.
The dealer also contacted me yesterday and reckons I can pick it up next Saturday. That seems very quick to me if it's still on the boat, so I'm taking that with a pinch of salt for now, unless he knows something the tracker isn't telling me.

Mine sat at Emden for roughly 2 weeks before it went on the boat, I spoke to my dealership during that time and they said that if after 2 weeks it's still sat there then the dealership can report it as late and it should get it hurried up, or at least a report on why it's taking so long

Mine is still showing as on the boat since the 21st (last Thursday). It's probably been caught up in all the Greenpeace stupidity at Sheerness.

Ha, fair point! Today, after a few days of the tracker saying it's on the boat, I got an email from Audi saying it's on the boat...
Dealer still seems confident of Saturday pickup at the moment though so who knows.

If it makes you feel any better, you ordered on 11th July, which incidentally is my birthday and yours is almost ready to collect. My order went in on 7th June and my car is still stuck at the Emden port in Germany, where's its been since 31st August. Go figure.

That's really crappy, I remember how stressed I was when it sat at Emden for 2 weeks. Did you speak to the dealer like I suggested? Might also be worth speaking to Audi customer service

Spoke to audi today. If it hasn't moved by Friday she will chase it up. I don't get the car until my current lease runs out at the end of November so I don't mind as long as it's here by 23rd November.

Arrived in the UK now according to the tracker. Got the finance docs to sign yesterday, and I've not been told I'm not getting it Saturday, so looks like we're on track still!

Congrats - where do you see these status codes? I have the below but can't see numbers anywhere, or do they only show up once it starts building?

Thought I'd through my ten pence in. My A4 s-line was ordered 08/09/17 and I is now on the boat according to YourAudi tracker. I must of been one of the lucky ones.

To give you an update on another order. I initially ordered my S4 Avant 11th August (although I only got an order code from them 04th September).
My Audi is saying build is expected to commence 08th January 2018, despite being advised several times on ordering that I should be looking at a November delivery..
I have a feeling this is due to the emissions holdup, but not sure as I’ve been told it’s just a guide and it could change. On querying the dealer they have said they actually haven’t been given build week slots for any S models yet (presume they only mean S4s). There are a lot of options included on the car I have ordered which I suppose may not help.

Well. After mine showing status 38 for a month my dealer finally chased it up for me today. Apparently mine was randomly selected for additional quality control checks. Shouldn’t delay it much more hopefully

Last week I managed to get my order swapped with one which already had a build slot, planned to commence on 2nd October. Just checked and it's on order code 22 today.They are just going to give it the once over with some emu feathers before painting it.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Plus they still have plenty of time to get it and she said it shouldn’t impact my collection date in November so I’m not worried yet.
