This clip is about 20 seconds from 5 minutes of abuse my car suffered at the hands of airport staff. Every acceleration is hard, the engine is revved when stopped. The car contains two people, the driver revelling in the power of the car and showing off, I have removed the sound as it may identify the driver, the matter is in the hands of the airport management.
The clip shows the car being driven down Outwood Lane at the airport, a 30mph road, the dash cam tops out at 66mph.

... awaiting a response from the airport

Yes, others have said similar, the whole episode is 6 minutes long, they even mess about with the ashtray I keep coins in, not sure if anything was taken as there wasn't much in it, but why mess with.
The whole thing is nothing more than a joyride.

I've used that service a few times.Wish I had checked footage on my cam now

This, plus the annual stories of cars abandoned on wasteground or clamped on private land by Gatwick's accredited parking service provider, just reinforces my golden rule that I never leave my car in the hands of anyone I don't know.

That's appalling mate.
It only goes to highlight the advantage of the dash cam.
I never leave my car at carparks where it involves leaving the keys with them for this very reason.
Who the culprits are suitably punished.

Manchester Airport still have not contacted me, the police have told me that the airport are worried it will get into the media.
The Police themselves are going for a ‘TWOC’ conviction.

I’ll let you know what happens in due course

The full video, with sound, including rattling around with my coin holder here, he seems to think it’s an RS4.

I never leave my keys with anyone at the aiport. Friend had a GTD stolen at a Heathrow car park a few years back and had all sorts of problems with the insurance

A post on the airport Facebook page or on Twitter should generate a response

WTF....This goes to show why you should NEVER!! use meet and greets.

Stopped using them years ago after my car came back full of bird s**t and the OEM audi dust caps had been stolen.

Wow. Shocked bud!
Sounds like a Nigerian bloke. Bet you he rode camels back home, got behind a wheel of a nice car and went crazy.

I did left my car keys with some hotel staff, where I parked, near Stanstead Airport back some years ago. That was Skoda so didn't cared as much. Although it was my first car for few years.
Wasn't driven as checked the milage.

I will definitely not use service like that.
Rather take a cab or ask a mate to drop me off.

Hope all gets resolved for you successfully, mate.

That’s appalling mate. And what makes you really ****** is the Airport Management’s attitude. Like you said, I am sure they are doing it to save their ar**es. I am sure it will get sorted soon. I’ll send the clip to local newspaper or perhaps someone in Manchester if nothing happens.

That's shocking, have they identified the people?

I'd definitely be sending that video off to the press and maybe even BBC's Watchdog, if they still exist

Absolutely go to the media.

It doesn't prejudice your position in relation to either a police investigation or a complaint to the airport but may have the advantage of forcing the airport into doing something about it.

The criminal case is ongoing, there is to be an interview with the guy and his lawyer later this month, he will be shown the video and asked for his response.
The airport have been in contact and following a discussion with senior managers have made an offer which I have accepted, I am not going into detail about this offer, other than it is a full refund with other compensation measures.
The airport, are apparently also taking measures to change the way they operate this meet and greet product, the people concerned with moving vehicles where not airport staff but agency workers.

Good news mate. Still hope they throw the book at this plank who actually did it. He's obviously brainless!

Great news!

At least some sort of compensation has been offered to resolve the matter.

Car hasn’t sustain any damage and you are all fine so all on top of that is extra.

You can say you’ve won and airport admitted their fault.
Case closed from airport site.

Let us know, if you can if and when any progress was made with police criminal case.

All the best

GMP police have been fantastic, they have been tireless in pursuing this, it took the airport quite a while to respond, however, when they did it was someone pretty high up and was surprised it had got to him, people covering their backs no doubt to blame.
I explained that I too run a business and can not afford bad publicity and events like this need to be nipped in the bud, acted on and sorted. From what I have been told it seems like this has been taken on board, they have recently received a lot of negative publicity, not just through this incident but many others, some not directly related to,the airport but perceived to be through third party operators.
I will let you know what happens, I’m expecting some sort of ‘restorative justice’ outcome, probably a waste of time, depends on his story and his solicitor I suppose?

Manchester Airport have cameras on the entry, they take lots of pictures to prove/disprove any claim, that is your first port of call.
