So in need of advice guys.. Audi s1 stage 1. The clutch - jerks the car during gear changes. It's been happening more regularly over the past couple of days. Not sure whether to take it back to Revo. Take away the remap and see what they can do. But Audi have their moments with any repairs under warrenty.

Thank you for responses in advance

Clutches are made of cheese on S1’s. Even stock ones don’t last long. Just uprate the clutch with an aftermarket one.

Wouldn't this affect my warrenty? If the remap was taken off would there be a way for Audi to know it has been staged at all?

Yes, it will have a TD1 flag triggered in the ECU. They will very likely know. Especially as the clutches are known to fail the second you remap them. Warranty only covers clutches to 6k miles anyway so if you are over that you are definitely not going to get anywhere.

Ive had the standard clutch in my car now for 20,000 miles with a remap and its been absolutely fine.
I just dont drive like a dik everywhere. Never launch it etc.

I'm on 13k miles and had a DTUK box on for a couple of months, I drive the car hard but avoid launches, aside from the fact that the car is quick away from a start without having to launch, I don't feel the need to replace the clutch anytime soon :)

Apart from the whole clutch issue, how do you find the Revo stage 1 remap to drive...thinking about it for my own S1

Ive just bought a 2015 S1 sepang blue and i pick it up saturday. 26k on the clock and its going straight to revo for remap, intake and turbo muffler delete.

Ill let you know how it goes... they remaped my 86k A4 and its been fine through 6 years on the same clutch.
