2013 A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI problem

Hi - Got the heater plug coil symbol on the dash(flashing) accompanied by whistling noise when revving. Loss of power too. RAC have recovered it and have taken to garage. Not heard back from them yet.
Does anyone know what might be going wrong?

Sounds like dpd filter clogged . Check the handbook , but back when I had a 8p diesel I am sure I had that and it went into limp mode . The handbook will give detail how to clear it .
 
The RAC man suspected a turbo failure. It didn't indicate limp mode on the dash, which I guess it should. It lost lots of power. Dread to think the cost of a new turbo.
