Hello,
Is there a limitation to the amount of songs recognised on an SD card?
I recently went though the pain of converting 4.500 songs and added them to a 32gb SD card however when I pop the card in it never shows more then 516 songs.

Any ideas?

Sorry I can't answer you directly, but I have some info which may help: I have a 32gb SD card in my car which includes some music that I don't like (such as some of my wife's). So I have transferred a subset of it to the hard drive "Juke box" which is the music I like and I have it on random play. Anyway I checked the Juke box status yesterday and there are about 1500 tracks on it. It is ages since I played music directly from the SD card, but from what I remember I had no trouble finding all of it.

Cheers for that...

Been messing around this morning and just added 8 new folders to the sd drive and moved 500 songs in each one...

Seemed to have done the trick! Not ideal but will do me for now.

So did you not originally have folders? Mine are all in folders by artist and album.

Sadly not, thats the next task...any ideas on doing this automatically as manually is going to be a painstaking effort

There may be an automatic way but that's just how my collection evolved. What I have noticed is that the track metadata is used and for some reason some of the music I have downloaded or ripped has metadata in chinese characters. I spent the time changing it manually.
