i want to replace my 2010 s line steering wheel with controls on both sides for a flat bottom steering wheel but im not sure which part no or what car fits the a4 along with the airbag?
any ideas or advice??

If you want a b8.5 flat bottom you'll also need an air bag. A lot of people have used a polish guy for a custom flat bottom that uses your original air bag and you can spec the wheel exactly as you want at a fraction of the price. If you search audizine you'll find a thread on it and I think you can deal with him through eBay

Is it a case of looking for the steering wheel with the correct shaped airbag i.e. Round or the squarer type or are the fittings on the back different?

I just looked for an a4 wheel with the same shape air bag with paddles and controls etc, I googled the part number from the sticker on the wheel on eBay and went from there

I think the newer flat bottom steering wheels with the round airbags are a smaller diameter than the OE S4 steering wheel with the standard "square" airbag. This would also be the case for the custom steering wheels standard "square" airbag as they can't be made smaller diameter. I will try to measure them later as I have both at home.
