I had cquartz uk edition applied to my golf R. Obviously looked awesome as it left the shop. With our **** weather I honestly wouldn't bother having the coating done again. It lasted a few months at most. I also had it done on my previous car, a Leon Cupra 280. That time I opted for maxprotect. Again, only lasted a few months. I thought it could have been the product but after trying 2 now, I wouldn't go for it again. If you're into your detailing, I would most likely recommend having your first detail done by a pro detailer but opt for wax over a ceramic coating and top it up yourself. Or, you could go to reep detailing (chain of detailers) around the UK and you could opt for their wax package where every 4-6 months they will top up the wax on the car for you for a small fee.
