HELP - Need rad and bottom hose for 2.8 (same as 2.4/2.6?)

Hey guys! . .

Wonder if anyone can help - I'm in relatively desperate need for a rand and bottom hose for my 2.8. Can't justify buying new and seem to be struggling to find something second hand!?

Pretty sure it's the same as 2.4 & 2.6. . . Can anyone help at all!?

Looking at etka online, 2.4 and 2.8 are the same. 2.6 is different.

The part number is: 8D0121055T

Thanks, some useful info there! . .

I saw a b5 in the scrap yard with a bottom hose that looked like those ones on ebay (couldn't confirm which engine it was)... But mine does not have a sensor in it, and I think the hose looked a slightly shape......

What is the year of your 2.8?

And by 'Rand' I assume that's Rad?
I got a radiator for my 1.9tdi b5 off eBay, brand new, 29£ delivered.

on the 1.8, the pre-facelift cars had a sensor in the radiator itself, and nothing in the hose. The later models moved the sensor to the hose, and put a blanking plug in the radiator.

If your stuck its trivial to simply fit the early type temp sensor into the rad and rewire it to use that instead.

I don't actually know for sure what year the car is as I bought it as a track car with no V5 or even the original number plate... I have a feeling it's a relatively early model though, around 1997

And the sensor is indeed in the rad Kev, which would also suggest it's an earlier model...

I think I may have sourced a rad and hose though! . . By chance someone contacted me wanting to buy the rims off my S4 who happens to be breaking a 2.8, and isn't too far from me!
