I'm planning on fitting a complete brake upgrade tomorrow including stainless lines.

Anything I need to be aware of and does anyone know the correct sequence for bleeding the brakes?

Don't let the system run dry otherwise you'll have to purge the ABS which requires VCDS and is a pain in the rear.
Start furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way forwards.

I would normally agree with what you have written, but it seems that we are wrong, ah well every day can be a school day.

Try not to use the pump the pedal method either. Use a pressure bleeder.
