Having a nightmare time, ive found a leak which is really bad and im wondering if anyone can help, its from the what i think are the flow and returns on the heater matrix, the one on the left is leaking badly from where the pipe gets wider at the back, just before it goes through the bulkhead, if i move it it gets worse, how would i repair/replace this, hope its not a dash out job, ive posted a pic so hopefully you can understand what im on about, this is the pipe thats leaking not the rubber hose that connects to it

Thanks in advance

Allan

They should be push fit connectors on them... pictures not brilliant but looks like you have just removed the hose...

If its the push fit connector leaking then you need to just replace that...

Part number should be on it

Thanks for the reply, managed to figure it out, removed the clip and pulled it off, the rubber O ring has perished so ive ordered two and will replace them both, hopefully nothing else is leaking

was having nightmares thinking of taking the dashboard out lol, had another leak at the side of engine, engine temp sensor but luckily that was a quick fix lol

I had a perished O-ring inside one of those push-fit connectors once... Lost half the coolant in the system while (fortunately) parked at a petrol station...
Sadly, Audi doesn't sell the O-rings separately, and ofcourse they are an odd size. Replacement connectors weren't overly expensive though.
