Cracked Windscreen

May need to shop about for S3 cover! Full no claims, drive way over night, 6k a year mileage, quiet street etc etc and best on Comparethemarket was £548! That's the most expensive quote I've ever had, and I mean ever!!!

Does seem expensive for somewhere so far from civilisation. That's the sort of price I was getting quoted for East London.

Try Adrian Flux, they've come up with a couple of nice offers for me in the last few days.

How's this for a utterly stupid quote @GSB

If I'm buying a car on PCP I'm the registered Keeper but the vehicle is owned by Audi?? Think that's the right way round!! The quotes ludicrous! You'd think I was 18 not 45!!

Who have you tried so far @Scottyg

I'm with direct line, got it for £531.30 with her in doors added. I'm 31 now but was 30 when I took it out.

Direct Line were £758 per year. AXA are the cheapest so far at £476. I know it's a more expensive car etc etc but I'm 45, live in a quiet place, teacher, don't do many miles, 19 years no claims etc so tick the boxes for a safe bet. Yet they're the highest quotes I've ever had for insurance.

In all the years of PCP I have always put me as owner and registered keeper, luckily never had to claim as this article confirms your right Scott

Now that I'm leasing the finance paperwork highlights the fact that I am not registered keeper or owner so told the insurance company that. This made no difference to my quotes with Aviva however the insurance certificate shows me as owner and registered keeper as this is all their system allowed back in April. Just updated the wife's new lease car with Aviva and system has now been updated.

S3 (2016) & Hyundai Tucson (2017) multi-car policy with Aviva £52pm. Both parked on drive in FK postcode with full protected NCB. 8-10k miles pa, two drivers on both cars 38 & 36 with business use on S3 which also has £250 vehicle type excess plus £150 standard though.
They don't come up on search sites though so need to go direct for quote. Also look at going through cash back websites might get £60 or so back. Have a look at Hastings too the quotes were quite competitive.

Cheers Barry. Some quotes are crazy! The cheapest quote is with my mum stuck in as a named driver. Lowered quotes by £60!! I'll keep tinkering and see what I can get it down to.

This is more than what I pay! I pay £2400 for a 2.0 TDI (150PS) A3 S-Line but it is my very first car and I only passed in February :grimacing:

Crazy money! Still, it can only go down (hopefully)
