Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had the issue of the air temperature not being as cold on one side as the other?

Is the air blowing at the same strength/speed both sides?

if so could be a problem with a "mixer flap" if our cars have such a thing but not sure as I've never stripped a dash out of a b8 before.

Very common on mercs as they have a number of motors and linkages behind the dash which controls a flap which fail reasonably regularly.

Bit of a shot in the dark as like I say I haven't stripped one before but could well be the case.

Probably the temperature sensors. The dealer changed one on my last B8 which did not solve the problem, then several visits and much frustration later they changed the other side and all was sorted.

Just seeing this now for some reason :surprise:

I assume these sensors are behind the glovebox?
