So I had my car in for that abs software update and when it was all done they gave me a nice little gift, I like the valve caps :yes:

Mines going in , in a fortnights time , getting courtesy car so can't see me getting the gift set too

Do you know what 2009 model it affects (pre or facelift cars)? Does it affect all A3 models? I can't find anything about it here in the UK (only German sites).
 
Mines a 2008 facelift , received a letter from Audi and they confirmed on the phone abs update was needed

I left this on the dash as well even though I told them not to do
it, better safe than sorry

I will be leaving similar note as mines been remapped, did they leave the emissions update alone and does it drive the same as it went in ?

Yeah they didn't do it as the tech has also scrubbed it off his system to stop sending reminders, got a free wash and Hoover as well, although the buggers wouldn't reset the service light for me, just done it myself with the carista app
 
Can I ask which Audi dealer gave you that gift, mines going in and I'm asking for something for the inconvenience. They did offer me a 15 minute head message of all things but I think I'd rather something from the service or parts dept.

Haha, can't believe they offered you a head massage! I hope it wasn't by one of the employees :sos:
 
I had a word with Aberdeen Audi about my 59 plate S3 and they had heard nothing about recall for update but the nice female at the other end did say if there was going to be one she would happily call and let me know , :cheerful::cheerful::cheerful::cheerful::cheerful::cheerful:
