Swapping ECU's

Is it possible to to swap an S4 V6 ECU to my A6 V6.
I don't have any problems with my ECU. I just can't get it remapped locally without spending over £1000.
I have the symos 8.3 ECU which is like rocking horse dung. The S4's use the Symos 8.4 which has been unlocked by quite a few companies.

Just a thought. ;-)

Hi, I thought the 3.2 V6 Quattro could only be mapped by 25bhp, and the remap is only £400 by JBS auto designs.

Have you tried looking on some of the american forums, problem you will find is that petrol model A6's weren't very popular in the UK, so there is very limited information on the engines in UK forums.

I've searched the web quite a lot and not found much.
The Yanks love this car and engine combination and that's why it's more financially viable to put the money upfront in the tuning department.
Because of the rarity over here, there is no financial gain.
