Hi

I was reading a review of the S1 when it first came out here - https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/audi/audi-s1-2014-road-test/

I noticed that it said there is a two stage deactivation of the ESC "Using Audi Drive Select you can programme the dynamics of the car how you want them: softer suspension or firmer; sharper throttle response or more gentle. And you can de-activate the Electronic Stabilisation Control in two stages."

Having only just seen this I haven't checked the manual but does anyone know how this works ? I always switch off the ESC when I start the S1 but wasn't aware there might be two stages to it nor how to they are both deactivated.

Any help gratefully received :)

Just keep the traction control button pressed for like 5 sec...

Short press puts traction control into a sport mode and lets for some slip 5 second hold turns the system off completely!
