ok so originally i was going to send the car to reagal auto sports, but ive just read some nasty reviews etc.

so does anybody recommend anybody else that can also sort out the ecu remap and especially ones closer to salisbury

they need to be able to deal with pistons, rods etc (just incase)

What engine and what parts do you mean by "stage 2" and "stage 3"?

I live a million miles away but that will better help others assist you  might be worth posting in the regional section too.

engine is the b7 2.0 tfsi se (220bhp)
i did state salisbury (uk)

i already have planned to have the camshafts replaced and engine valve springs, ie hpfp (possibly the lower one aswell)
will be replacing the intercooler (which i need some adeas on) ie i love the ie fds intercooler but they dont make one for my car, so is there one thats just like it or better.

will also be havign the rods and pistons done, aswell as exhuast

If you don't mind a little bit of traveling then JKM in Portsmouth are your best option

http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/services.htm

They have been working on TFSI engines for years as well as Rs4 v8's, and all kinds of other engines from Ford escort rs turbo's to Toyota MR2 track cars

I think you really need to sell your B7 and move upto something else to be honest as I just cant see where you are going with these projects on your car.
At a rough tally up with all the mods you are looking to do to your B7 with BBK's , engine rebuild, silcone hoses suspension , tyres , headlamps etc etc your around the £10k - 12k bracket and that's a pretty realistic aswell ,probably a bit more as other areas will then need sorting, given you want the work done by a garage aswell.
To throw that at a 182k mile 2wd A4 is well just bonkers, everyone to their own and that but I just cant get it chap, why.....
just sell it put 12k to what you get for the B7 and get something newer .
just my input nothing personal.

^^ What Rob said; S4/RS4 is everything needed and more.

I've been in a 2.0T with over 500 bhp and it was absolutely brilliant but the car ended up being stripped for parts (presumably because something went bang) and the owner bought an RS4... think he has something even more mad now actually, but yeah 182k is no place to start doubling horsepower, front wheel drive car's are no fun after about 250bhp anyway even running LSD and wide sticky tyres.

price is about £6-7k for parts

however considering i had started the above comment about 2 minutes after yours. ive decided im doing the basics. dealing with simple issues but , i will be replacing the camshafts as i believe the fuel pump is giving issues as as humble mechanic said, if thats going so is the camshaft.

ill run with the car for a bit and then upgrade to the s4 hopefully.

by the way whats with the different turbo and supercharger b8's im finding a lot of ads stating turbo and then you find the whole b8 range should be supercharger

Well definitely don't go for mad power if the car is having issues.

I'd answer what you say about S4/RS4 engine's but that's what Google is for.

Would personally have a B8 S4... Google/Chris Harris will summarize why.

Exactly my point , you say 6- 8k for parts, more like £ 8-10 plus labour charges and any incidentals, you are looking at £10 -12k min, just not a justified expense on a well worn road car, if you want to throw money away just send me the cash , I could find a much more enjoyable car to use it on, if that's just me.

B7 RS4's and B8 S4's can be had for the value of the car plus about 10k.

Don't give your cash to Rob though give it to me :kissingheart:

no no, my needs are greater..i live in ripoff surrey..lol

actually you say thats what google si there for, hell you go try ask google and you will get plenty of links to forums where there is confusion. hell check on the sales descriptions and its not even clear if they have turbo or surpercharged. and my question was about the s4 NOT the rs4

and yes we are no longer upgrading pistons etc for high performance, however what we will be doing is replacing items that need replacing stock for stock so the engine is healthy.

The b8 s4 is supercharged, you can find this information with very little searching. At no point ever has it been turbocharged........
Considering you seem to know nothing about quite basic things you ask, you are quite rude to the people that actually attempt to help you.

well you say its easy, but ive seen many posts especially sales posts which states turbo hence the confusion

Where you are..

Contact Ben Parsons at Devil Devolpments. He is a mapping and tuning king. Such a nice guy too.

They are based in or around Worthing.

Apparently the stock 2.0t can handle around 400bhp and 400ft lbs torque so if I was you I would get a TTE hybrid and max out on stock limit without having to forge Rods and potentially pistons. Then if you surely want more power, get the others done.

It will be a lot more than you think but I dont think you will hit £6k for hardware at all.
