Fair play, I to went heavy on options with similar thinking, hoping I'll keep this car for a good few years and didn't want to regret not speccing all the goodies if it's a keeper!

Guess you got lucky on the quick build : )

Nah, to be honest , I prefer the low viz appproach, rather not have the newest car on the street ... might sound daft, but the s4 is quite understated overall, a bit like its new owner to be I guess... a few years from now, I don't think it will make a difference.. there are already some 17 plates on the street, so blend in ... I've never had a new car on new reg day - would be fun I guess,,,

One of my mates was urging me to get an AMG43... I'm in Austria right now, there is one parked up by us most days. The sound of it driving off (at very low speed) In the morning is just a bit too in your face .. very conspicuous...

That's fair enough. There's nothing on my car that gives it away as being a bit special apart from the red callipers. I had it debadged which even takes the V6T off the wings! I didn't realise that until I saw it. Haha

STATUS 40 !!!! its soooo close

Ttracker has been absoultly usless for me even JSON has skipped from 10 to 30 then from 38 to 40 even though ive looked daily. YourAudi skipped from QC to in the UK in one day too. be waiting till Sept 1st now anyway. 3 weeks too sell my 8p S3 ....

Hey guys, how do you get to see the different status e.g status 30 or 40 etc?

I'm tracking on the app as per below but is there another site that shows the status numbers?

Good news is it's finally jumped from build date of 21/8 to now being in panel shop : )

Build date 21/08, Am also in the panel shop as of this morning so ahead of schedule!! Exciting times..

Just be aware that all the stages up till QC (status 30) are auto generated based on your proposed build week and always starts the Thursday before. Have a read a few pages of this thread you’ll see what I mean. Hence why few off us jump straight to 30 when brought forward as that’s when car is actually made. Don’t mean to put downer on it but just don’t want you all guessing the delivery date until it’s actually made. I still ain’t got mine so don’t worry feel all your pain

Haha, yeah no worries understand it's not exact science with this damn tracker.

Still happy booting my S3 saloon around but the 2nd dog is getting bigger so the sooner I get that big boot the better : )
 
sorry lads haha to be honest the tracker is awful in my experience but using the status page is (abit) more reliable hopefully you will see 30 at start of next week ! You wont be far behind me earliest handover i could get is the 4th must be alot of people waiting for 67 plate at my dealership :(

I'm hoping for about 4 weeks Brandon but I've seen it can get stuck in QC and sitting at the port for a few weeks also seems to be common!

I'd love to get mine w/c 18th September.

Looks like the tracker has had a little makeover.

No movement on my car, still expected to begin construction on the 11th September. It has at some point decided it's a Black Edition rather than S-Line, but I'm sure it'll right itself at some point.

Sure does...it looks a lot nicer. Mine is still at stage 2 with a build date of 16th Oct. Seems so far away :blush:
 
So I was expecting my A4 sline 1.4 mid September. Called the other day to find out what's going on and was given an order number. When I log in to my Audi I find my paint colour is totally wrong! They have totally messed up and the car is in quality control!
 
Mine has come forward a couple of weeks now 18th September. Can't wait!

Looked on tracker today as was due to be born on 28th August, now in Quality Control. Getting Giddy....

Feeling a bit jealous of all these posts.........on the plus side (after the suspension of ordering fiasco), I finally - today - received my order number. Now the wait begins :-(

How long after the order arrives, will it take for some progress to show up on the tracker? I don't think I'll be able to put up with looking every day lol!
