Looking for some white halogen's for my b7 a4 as it's black and think white light would be better than the yellow! Cheers.

I just bought some H7 MTec Cosmo Blue bulbs for my A3. HIDs Direct is the company I've used numerous times. A lot of people don't rate MTec but I've never had a problem with them. Great light output compared to OME halogen and much whiter in colour.

Are these direct replacements for the halogens?

Is it h7 for the headlights and h1 for the sidelights? What bulbs is it for the fog lights? Cheers!

I see they say they are road legal but how can Xenon Gas filled bulbs be halogen replacement bulbs? They are either Halogen bulbs or Xenon bulbs.

I beg to differ.
Ring do the road legal “halogen filament technology” Xenon gas filled 55W/60 standard bulbs as well. These are not to be confused with Xenon HID kits or non-road-legal bulbs with higher than 55w power – and thus more heat. I don’t know what the Ring ones look like.

Ring Xenon 130% H7 came 2nd in a November test , however they won't be as white as Retroman's Ultra 5000K .

I'm unsure if there is a performance advantage with the Ultra 5000K ?

But for the money...

First I've heard of Xenon filled Halogen bulbs. Everydays a school day.

???

Nighteye are not tested , the led lack the focus and pattern of a halogen , does this improve in a projector housing ?

Don't bother reading these tests, Osram and Phillips just take it in turns to win each year. Bit like the "best bank" articles :haha:
